If you choose to offer the chat option, any visitor to your website will be able to click “Start Live Chat” on the Bontact Live Support Widget. A chat box will then pop up and prompt your sales or customer support representative to chat with the website visitor. As the customer types his or her question, your representative can reply and provide the relevant information in real-time.
When a prospective customer visits your website, your representative can invite them to chat even if they do not initiate a session. Using a phrase such as “Hello! How can I help you?”(Just as a sales person would at a physical store) or any other sentence, you can attempt to engage visitors in conversation.

The software allows you to view information about website visitors, even if they have not contacted your representative through the chat system. Visitor information includes: what page is currently being viewed, duration of visit, IP address, type of browser used, and location (country). The total number of visitors currently on your website can be viewed at any time. When a representative is contacted by a website visitor, he or she will also be able to see the details provided by the visitor, i.e. name and email address.
The free version of the live chat customer support system supports a chat session with up to three visitors at a time. If a fourth visitor requests a chat you will be notified, but you will not be able to see his or her details.

Installing the Widget
The embed code is obtained once you register.Insert the code into the webpage’s HTML source code, define the chat settings through the dashboard and the Bontact Live Support Widget will begin appearing on your page, allowing you to chat with website visitors.
