Olark is a startup based in San Francisco. It is really one of the veterans of the online chat widget market. Olark has a free plan that lets you have 20 monthly conversations with visitors. Olark also allows you to see who is on your site and reach out to them proactively. Paid plans go from $15 to $219 per month and allow you p to 15 chat agents. It also has tons of integrations, including Salesforce, SugarCRM, Google Analytics and Zendesk.
Owned by Zendesk and based out of Singapore, Zopim is another veteran of the online live chat support game. The free plan allows one chat agent, and unlimited chats. Paid plans go from $11 to $44 per chat agent per month, with pretty extensive real-time analytics. Management of the WordPress plugin takes place outside the WP dashboard, while chats are received inside it, so be warned.
My Live Chat, produced by CuteSoft Components, a Canadian software company, has unlimited chats, with archives going back 3 years and one chat agent for its free plan. Paid plans start at $15 per month and go up to $99. Like the other apps we’ve discussed, it has real-time visitor analytics and proactive customer service.
