SMS and Text – Bontact integration overview

Our SMS/Text integration allows your customers to easily contact you from your website via mobile text, connecting your replies directly to their phone from the convenience of your online dashboard. The SMS will be redirected to your agents dashboard. Your agents can use the dashboard to text back any user at any time. All messages are stored on your dashboard for your tracking and analysis. On top You can choose to receive new message notifications directly to your phone via SMS.

Setup SMS/Text – Bontact integration

To use the SMS/Text channel, you need to visit the Dashboard channels page and press on the TEXT tab. Now you will need to:

  1. Switch the channel to active status (on the left side of the screen)
  2. Enter the phone number you would like to receive notifications to

On the right side of the screen you can setup a schedule to the channel (when would you like it to be available for new SMS from visitors)  

Once you are done, don’t forget to save your settings

To setup your incomming text notifications, please use the “click here” option

And choose where you would like to receive your notification to
